Inmate texting apps are a great method of keeping in touch with a friend or relative who is currently in prison. These apps are designed to be in compliance with prison regulations and permit family and friends to send messages, photos, video calls, eCards and money to their trust account in prison. In addition to these messaging apps, there are many federal inmate apps that offer additional services, such as video visits and phone calls.
The JPay application, for instance allows family and friends to easily transfer money into an inmate's trust account, along with photos, email videos, eCards, and eCards. It also lets them make personalized postcards with personal photos. It's a safe and more secure alternative to traditional postal mail.
Another popular app for texting inmates is GettingOut. It offers "simple reliable and reliable communication" between inmates with their loved ones. The app is available at selected correctional facilities that allow inmates to upload photos and send messages to family members and friends using their tablets. It costs inmates $0.25 for a message and loved ones pay for the information that is used to read their messages (but not for explicit photos). The GettingOut app can be used to upload a photo to Facebook or Foursquare or check-in on Foursquare and add the option of a YouTube video.
